Anaïs An products are meticulously crafted using carefully selected and tested fabrics and materials. Each item comes with a label providing specific washing and care instructions.
We suggest some general care guidelines for Anaïs An products as follows:
Wash similar colors together; if possible, wash bright whites separately.
Machine wash at temperatures below 30°C and place items in a laundry bag to prevent tangling or damage to decorative details, bows, or accessories.
For hand washing, use a laundry bag and wring dry. Keeping fabric wet for too long may affect its color and shape. (If color fading occurs—which is extremely rare with our selected fabrics—it may transfer to lighter areas or other garments when hand-washed and left to dry. However, in such cases, the solution is simple: soak the garment in detergent and wash it again, ensuring thorough wringing this time.)
Dry clothes in areas with indirect sunlight to prevent localized fading, elastic loosening, or fabric stretching.
Use hangers instead of clips for drying and storage to minimize the need for ironing.
Avoid strong detergents and harsh chemicals, especially for children’s clothing.
Tumble dry at the appropriate temperature as recommended by the dryer manufacturer.
If you want to keep your outfits looking brand new, consider professional dry cleaning. However, aside from garments with heavy embellishments such as glitter, sequins, or metallic details (which come with a specific care notice upon purchase), our products generally have low and acceptable color fading levels.
Our products also include ironing guidelines, but as parents, you know your family's garment care habits best. You may adjust the ironing methods and frequency to suit your needs, but please keep these key points in mind:
Steam ironing is recommended for the best results, as many of our designs feature soft pleats and flowing details (this method is simple, quick, and effective).
Our premium fabrics typically require ironing only once for every ten wears (Easy Care), while mesh materials only need light steaming.
Do not use high heat on printed designs, embellishments, mesh, silk, or fur-like surfaces. In many cases, ironing may not be necessary. (If you must iron over a print, place a clean sheet of paper on top to protect it.)
Iron the reverse side to maintain fabric quality and longevity.
